We are of course following the government guidlines and our office is closed whilst still open for business over the phone/whatsapp/email etc at home.

With regards to mortgage payment holidays we understand that lenders websites are the best starting point with this and providing guidance on how to apply for this and if you wished to post and share your experiences for the benefit of others then that would be appreciated i am sure.

A word for any clients who have protection policies, I have been made aware of 'opportunists' who are using this time to scaremonger clients that there plans are not right and need updating.... PLEEEAASE see these calls for what they are and if you have any concerns about your own policies or protection plans please speak to us first as i worry about the way these charlatans operate to jeopardise the cover you have in place already.
For those who are thinking I haven’t got any protection in place at present and you want to discuss - please get in touch.

We are still able to complete product switches for clients who are coming to the end of their mortgage deals and these are and always have been FREE OF CHARGE, and these will enable us to maintain our relationship and are at no detriment to you if we carry these out on your behalf and may involve some simple emails. This of course will enable us to generate a small amount of income to assist us in supporting our business so we are fit and ready to go when things get back to some kind of normality.

We know the Government has announced the 3 month mortgage holiday and from what we understand, most lenders have stated this 'will not affect your credit rating.' if you do find yourself in difficulties with paying your mortgage then please do speak to your lender as a matter of urgency. We believe that lenders will look at each case on its own merits and the holiday is not just a blanket decision for all. In light of the current situation across the world regarding the coronavirus, we also wanted to reassure you that we are business as usual.

Our team will be partly working remotely from home and we will have one person in the office to coordinate as required with documents and correspondence. We also have the ability to skype/email/whatsapp etc and lucky that we can work wherever there is internet access.

Clients who have current mortgage and life insurance applications in submission, these remain and are still being tracked and monitored. Those with appointments upcoming will dealt with as normal, however can be done remotely over the phone if you prefer.

We look forward to being able to continue our relationship despite the difficult circumstances for us all and we should not let this affect your financial situation to any detriment and of course that you and your loved ones are safe and well.
